Richard Chambers began his nursing career after earning his BSN from Nevada State University. His first role was at MountainView Hospital, where he gained experience in med-telemetry and cardiac care before transitioning into the Neuro ICU. He spent several years there, including during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, deepening his passion for critical care.
Seeking broader clinical exposure, he later pursued travel ICU and float pool nursing, working in diverse hospital systems such as Dignity Health and Kaiser Permanente. During this time, he also completed his FNP-MSN at UNLV while working in a surgical unit. Outside of work, he enjoy playing basketball, strategizing over chess, and spending meaningful time with family.
