Bhullar, Ruby, MD.

Golden, Shivani, MD. (prev Chopra)

Dr. Shivani Golden is a double board-certified Geriatrician who completed her Geriatrics & Administrative Fellowship at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine in New York City, where she was named Chief Quality Fellow. Following her fellowship, she served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU Langone Hospital and was the Quality Director for a 500+ bed skilled nursing facility. She led various initiatives in this role, including coordinating the COVID treatment response during the 2021 wave of the pandemic, when anti-COVID treatments were scarce. Due to her efforts, nearly 100 patients received life-sustaining treatment that helped prevent deaths and hospitalizations from COVID. She is currently a nursing home Medical Director and full-time physician in Rehabilitation centers. She is a yearly guest speaker at national Post-Acute and Long Term Care conferences, where she lectures on the subject of Medical Director contracts with legal counsel. She is a firm believer in evidence based medicine as well as a patient-centered, holistic approach to care where the needs and desires of her patients come first. She is deeply passionate about nursing homes and strives to bring her knowledge and experience from her work in New York to Las Vegas.

Golden, Daniel, MD.

Dr. Daniel Golden is an attending physician and associate director of quality and patient safety at Valley Health System’s Department of Emergency Medicine. He has held these positions since July 2022. He also worked as a clinical research manager and firefighter in New York. Dr. Golden completed his residency at New York-Presbyterian Cornell & Columbia University Hospitals and has a Doctor of Medicine degree. He has received numerous honors and awards, including the Outstanding Citizenship Award and the Quality Improvement Champion. Dr. Golden is a member of the MCIC Leadership Committee and the Weill Cornell Emergency Department Quality & Patient Safety Committee. He has also been involved in several quality improvement initiatives.

Gubler, Jason Tyler, DO.

Dr. Gubler is a family medicine physician who has been practicing medicine since 2015. He completed his medical training at Touro University-Nevada and his residency at Chino Valley Medical Center. Dr. Gubler is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He is also fluent in Spanish. Huynh, Kovin, DO.

Dr. Kovin Huynh is a board-certified internal medicine physician practicing as a hospitalist in Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Touro University Nevada and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Valley Hospital Medical Center. Lumbres, Madel, MD.

Dr. Madel Lumbres completed her medical training at University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines where she graduated Cum Laude. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training at New York Downtown Hospital in New York City and Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as a Hospitalist Physician at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Las Vegas in 2015. Dr Lumbres has worked in several hospitals in the Las Vegas Valley including Dignity Health St Rose Siena, San Martin and De Lima Campuses, Spring Valley Hospital, Desert Springs Hospital, as well as post-acute facilities such as Valley Health Specialty Hospital and Advanced Healthcare of Henderson. During her free time, Dr Lumbres enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines with her family and friends.

Dr. Babak Mahgerefteh is an internal medicine physician with over 13 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency and internship at Valley Hospital Medical Center. Originally hailing from California, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999, where I pursued my passion for medicine. As an internal medicine physician, I’ve spent over a decade dedicated to patient care, primarily as a hospitalist and in post-acute settings.What I find most rewarding in medicine is the opportunity to educate patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. Outside of my professional life, I cherish quality time with my husband, our two wonderful children, and our beloved cat.
