With a robust background in internal medicine and a proactive role in clinical documentation improvement, Dr. Dionice “Dio” Juliano has made significant contributions as a hospitalist in Las Vegas. He completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Juliano is an advocate for patient-centered care and has been involved in numerous committees focused on improving clinical outcomes and service excellence. His ongoing commitment to medical education and quality improvement is evident in his participation in a range of hospital committees and his work in tobacco cessation and motivational interviewing.
Dr. Kabsoun completed her medical training at the University of Medical Sciences & Technology in Khartoum, Sudan. She has also served as a clinical instructor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Kabsoun has held positions as a hospitalist/geriatrician at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and as a family physician/geriatrician at Banner Health Medical Group in Surprise, Arizona. She completed a geriatric fellowship at Banner Health Geriatric Fellowship Program in Sun City, Arizona.
Dr. Manish Kanukunta completed his internal medicine residency at Sunrise GME Consortium, known for his meticulous patient care and educational leadership. After graduating from the University of Medicine and Health Science in St. Kitts, he has engaged in extensive clinical training across various medical disciplines. His work includes significant contributions to infectious disease management, family medicine, and pain management. Dr. Kanukunta is also committed to community service, participating in food banks and COVID-19 contact tracing initiatives.
Dr. Leila Khalili earned her medical degree from Tehran University in Iran and brings over 15 years of experience in Internal Medicine. She completed her residency at Mountain View Hospital and remains dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Outside of work, Dr. Khalili enjoys cooking and practicing yoga.
Dr. Tania Khalid is a physician with 24 years of experience, specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan and completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Yale University’s Bridgeport program. Dr. Khalid furthered her expertise with a geriatrics fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board-certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics.
Dr. Imran Khalek is an internal medicine physician who recently completed his residency at the Detroit Medical Center – Sinai Grace Hospital. He is a graduate of the Aga Khan University Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan. Prior to his residency, Khalek gained clinical experience through observerships and rotations at various hospitals in the United States and Pakistan. He has also worked as an office assistant at the Disability Resource Center at UNLV, where he gained experience working with students with disabilities. Khalek has co-authored several journal articles and presented research posters. He is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and has been actively involved in volunteer work.
Dr. Edward Kim is a board-certified internal medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. He completed his internal medicine residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Kim’s clinical experience includes treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on evidence-based care and patient education. His dedication to medicine is complemented by his passion for mentorship, as seen in his volunteer work guiding aspiring healthcare professionals. Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys coaching youth sports and staying active in his local community.
Dr. Esther Kim is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from A.T. Still University. Dr. Kim is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and improving clinical outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and watching football.
Dr. Stephanie Kost is a hospitalist with UMed Hospitalist Group in Phoenix, Arizona, following her tenure at Banner Medical Group. She completed her internal medicine residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas after earning her DO from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Kost is known for her scholarly contributions to the medical community, including presentations on topics such as pericarditis. Fluent in Russian and Spanish, she enhances patient communication and care in a diverse clinical environment.
Dr. Yelena Kreymer is a board-certified internal medicine physician, who earned her medical degree from Rutgers NJ medical school and completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NY. She has over 9 years of experince, and currently a hospitalist at Summerlin Hospital.
Dr. Khuong Lam is a board-certified internal medicine physician who earned his medical degree from Touro University Nevada and completed his residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he has practiced since 2017. Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Dr. Lam has presented research at ACOI and enjoys soccer, volleyball, fitness, and exploring national parks in his free time.
Dr. Jennifer Lising is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in the field. She earned her medical degree in 2001 and holds licenses in California, Nevada, and New York. In addition to her medical degree, she also has a background in medical technology and is a California Lab Clinical Scientist. Dr. Lising is fluent in both English and Tagalog.
Dr. Bonnie Lo is a board certified Internist, whose unique blend of scientific rigor and artistic appreciation shapes her approach to medicine. After earning dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Art History from the University of California, Irvine, she briefly went into teaching before she decided to go into medicine. She received her medical degree at Touro University, Nevada. Dr. Lo has been actively involved in medical research and was a Nevada ACP poster finalist in 2015, earning a reward to present nationally. Her primary focuses are patient education, preventative care, and graduate medical education. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, kayaking, and the arts.
Dr. Saroj Lohani is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive clinical experience and a strong academic background. He earned his MBBS degree from Tribhuvan University in Nepal and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Tower Health System in Pennsylvania. Dr. Lohani has worked as a hospitalist since 2018. Recognized for his excellence in patient care, he has received multiple awards, including the Gold Certificate of Appreciation and the DAISY Team Award. Dr. Lohani is an accomplished researcher with over 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as autoimmune conditions, cardiovascular health, and rare medical cases. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lohani is fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali, and is passionate about continuous learning and serving diverse communities.
Dr. Madel Lumbres completed her medical training at University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines where she graduated Cum Laude. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training at New York Downtown Hospital in New York City and Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as a Hospitalist Physician at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Las Vegas in 2015. Dr Lumbres has worked in several hospitals in the Las Vegas Valley including Dignity Health St Rose Siena, San Martin and De Lima Campuses, Spring Valley Hospital, Desert Springs Hospital, as well as post-acute facilities such as Valley Health Specialty Hospital and Advanced Healthcare of Henderson. During her free time, Dr Lumbres enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines with her family and friends.
