Dr. Nelson is a board-certified family physician. He completed his medical training at SUNY Upstate Medical University and his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He has experience as a hospitalist at Faxton – St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY. Dr. Nelson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. He has also been involved in community service, providing diabetes education in Syracuse, NY.
